Rome Health is looking for a per diem OP coder to join the Health Information Management team. This team member will assist with backlogs and coverage during staff PTO.
Requirements:
Current coding certification required
Three years of experience coding Observation and/or Ambulatory Surgery preferred
Experience with Clintegrity, Paragon, One Content helpful
Extensive knowledge of medical terminology
Experience in researching and applying coding rules and guidelines
Experience with data entry of codes into a database
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and EMR systems
Additional Skills:
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Positive, respectful attitude
Work Arrangement: Fully remote after training
