Job DescriptionThis position is accountable for oversight of patient care delivery whenever the Nursing Directors are not in the hospital. This RN makes rounds to the nursing units, collaborates with staff to solve clinical and staffing issues, addresses and documents practice variations and staff non-compliance to HR policies. Nursing metrics are assessed and staff coached/mentored to improve outcomes when deficits are identified. This RN also serves as a patient advocate, communicates with support departments as appropriate to resolve issues. Following the chain of command, communicates appropriate issues to AOC, Nursing Leadership, and Ancillary Departments.Education Bachelors Nursing Required or BSN completed within 5 years of hire.
