Job Summary Provides coding support to primary care and medical specialties. Reviews and codes operative reports and evaluation and management services for multiple physician practices, and perform some charge capture activities. Resolves complex coding scenarios, provides feedback and coding/documentation advice to clinical and administrative staff, and assists with the resolution of coding related denials. Assist in providing updated insurance information. Maintains a system of monitoring timely charge capture and accuracy, and documentation compliance. Review and manage practice Accounts Receivable and identify any significant problems that would delay or result in non-payment of claims. Communicate with billing company as required. Demonstrates current knowledge of coding principles.
