Laboratory Manager Major Responsibilities: Assumes responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the department including providing work direction, expertise, and guidance to the staff. Oversees the clinical laboratory testing, evaluation of results, and the proficiency of testing. Actively participates in projects to meet strategic initiatives including implementation and development of quantitative outcomes. Monitors budget compliance. Analyzes laboratory fiscal needs, and departmental performance and takes action to address variances.
