Job Description Summary This role involves reviewing and analyzing physicians'documentation, as well as CPT, ICD-9, and ICD-10 diagnosis codes. The coding function ensures compliance with coding guidelines, third-party reimbursement policies, regulations, and accreditation guidelines. Job Duties & Essential Functions Perform complex and technical assignments related to medical coding. Analyze, code, and abstract information to assign and enter consistent diagnoses and procedure codes for reimbursement. Resolve discrepancies related to coding issues. Review and correct rejected claims from various third-party carriers. Handle CPMP account notifications and accounts receivable reports (IDX), and ICD-09/10 coding.
