The Southeast Region Public Health Division consists of 8 counties with 10 public health offices. Each office houses diverse staff members offering services promoting healthy behaviors to have a better quality of life. Why does the job exist? This position will provide medical oversight and leadership to clinical staff in the local public health offices in the Southeast Region. Perform clinical services such as Medication for Opiate Use Disorders (MOUD) for those experiencing opioid use disorder, family planning, sexually transmitted diseases, breast and cervical cancer screening and tuberculosis.
