Job Description POSITION IS 100% ONSITE NAVAL HOSPITAL CLINIC QUANTICO, QUANTICO, VA The Ambulatory Medical Coding Auditor is responsible for the auditing of medical documentation and codes for compliance with federal coding regulations and guidelines. This will include the assignment of ICD, Current Procedure Terminology (CPT), Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS) codes, modifiers, and quantities as documented by the physician. Trains and educates MTF staff on coding issues and plays a significant role in coding compliance activities. Must be able to satisfy the eligibility requirements for obtaining a government issued security clearance (US citizenship is required). Requires a physical, proof of immunization, including COVID vaccination and annual immunizations such as TB testing and flu shots.
