Job Description Job Description Our busy Nephrology Practice located in Portsmouth, OH is looking for a part-time Medical Biller (approximately 30 hours per week) . The office hours are Monday-Thursday 8:00-5:00 PM and Friday 8:00-1:00 PM. Requirements: Submit claims electronically. Follow up on unpaid claims. Research denied claims. File appeals and submit corrected claims. Request patient benefits when needed. Request pre- certifications/prior authorizations when needed. EMR experience preferred. Must have a solid understanding of the coding and billing processes. 2 years of billing experience preferred. Skills: Must have solid computer skills. Math skills.
