Clinical Coding Specialist IIIThoroughly reviews patient medical records as required to specifically and accurately code diagnoses and procedures treated or otherwise impacting the patient care. Effectively verifies the electronic medical record contains supporting documentation to justify diagnostic and procedural code assignments and follows up accordingly if questionable. Physician Billing Coordinator The Physician Billing Coordinator position is responsible for editing/billing physician and clinic claims to payers for charges incurred at FirstHealth clinics, following up with payers regarding non-payment, denial and/or underpayment, ensuring that billing is compliant and accurate, managing clinic accounts receivables to ensure that we bill within payer timely-filing limits and adding documentation to accounts to reflect communication with payers.
