Drug Reconciliation Analyst/Coder The Drug Reconciliation Analyst/Coder is responsible to reconcile pharmacy transactions via superbills, appointment schedules, remittance advice, pharmacy reports and pharmacy invoices. Research and track all unpaid or denied claims writing appeal letters when necessary. Research any variances in payment to contracted rates. Work with Pharmacy personnel regarding any outstanding issues or discrepancies. Understand and update clinicians and Director on insurance coverage guidelines, benefits and policies. Maintain understanding of State and Federal guidelines. Keeps up to date on all coding requirements and guidelines and in-services as well as assists with any coding needs of the department.
