Job Description Job Description Growing Dermatology practice is looking for a personable, responsible, upbeat individual to join our team as a Medical Billing Specialist. The right candidate must be detail oriented, organized and able to multi-task, work well in a group setting and possess excellent writing skills. Experience with Advanced MD is preferred, but not required. Responsibilities include the following: Posting payments Charge entry Audit patient accounts Handle corrections for rejected claims Follow up with insurance companies and patients with unpaid balances Solid knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT codes Accounts Receivable follow up Collections Follow up on EOB's Perform reconciliations of refund accounts Submit clean claims in a timely manner Resubmit insurance claims and process denials within required timelines Make payment arrangements with patients as needed Follow HIPAA guidelines for patient communications at all times Other duties as assigned...
