Job Description Job Description Busy Internal Medicine practice is seeking a Medical Biller/Coder. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be detail oriented, professional, great customer service skills and able to work in a fast paced atmosphere. Understanding of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10, and insurance claims processing is required. Candidate should be familiar with EMR/EHR and comfortable using a computer. Job duties include: Interpreting physicians notes to determine appropriate procedure and diagnosis codes Posting all charges for services provided in a timely fashion Assist Billing Manager with patient collections Process incoming mail for the practice Assist front desk staff as needed Experience is not required, will train the right candidate.
