Inpatient candidates need 2+ years auditing experience, 5+ years experience with extensive inpatient coding, MS-DRG and case mix experience, 3M experience, however will consider other encoder experience. Experience working with Cerner and Epic a plus.

Primary Responsibilities:
Receive assigned medical charts to code
Review medical charts electronically
Abstract and code diagnosis and documentation information
Research and resolve coding projects
Perform ongoing analysis of medical record charts for the appropriate coding compliance
Ability to work independently with little to no supervision
