Job Description The Medical Billing Specialist at Men's Health Boston (MHB) performs duties supporting the billing operations of the practice. The Medical Billing Specialist is largely responsible for creating and filing insurance claims, posting payments, assisting with appealing denials, working with insurance companies and patients, and answering staff and patient billing questions. We also expect this person to be able to perform benefits on in-house services, prosses and track prior authorizations and manage referrals. The work is shared between the billing department but it's expected this person has an understanding of all aspects of medical billing for a privately owned medical practice.
