Job Description * POSITION SUMMARY * Responsible for accurately and efficiently assigning DRGs, ICD-10 diagnosis codes and ICD-10, CPT-4 and HCPCS procedure codes. Understands diagnosis-to-DRG grouping rules and related issues like Present on Admission and Hospital Acquired Conditions. * PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Employees are expected to work consistently to demonstrate the mission, vision, beliefs, core values and standards of behavior of the organization. * Identifies query opportunities and interacts with the physicians for answers.
