Job Description Job Description Salary: Eastside Outpatient Services, a behavioral health outpatient clinic, is seeking a Medical Biller. We are seeking highly skilled and motivated candidates for this part-time position working Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The Medical Biller will also assist with front desk duties. Responsibilities include: Verifying patient insurance benefits. Obtaining pre-authorizations, checking eligibility, billing and tracking incoming EOBs and payments. Research and appeal denied claims. Communicating via telephone and in-person in a professional, courteous, and friendly manner. Greeting patients and other visitors arriving for appointments. Performing telephone reception duties, answering routine questions, taking messages and transferring calls to the appropriator person. Scheduling appointments, intakes and assessments.
