Manage the accounts receivable for timely and maximum reimbursement by adhering to company billing and collection policies. Review coding & charges, ensure the completion of team members daily task. Follow-up with external and internal customers to ensure remediation of customer issues. Communicate with the AR Manager concerning central billing issues, questions, concerns, corrective actions or training needs. Centralized Billing Office FT/ DAYS/ 80 hours per pay Summary of Position The Medical Billing Specialist works to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement on medical claims for physician services rendered.  This position is part of a centralized billing office and provides medical billing services for multi-specialty physician services. Nature and Scope The Medical Billing Specialist is responsible for collecting and entering timely and accurate claim information.  This position will submit claims utilizing insurance carrier guidelines and will also follow up on submitted claims that are unpaid, rejected, or denied.  The Medical Billing Specialist reports to the A/R Manager within the Centralized Billing Office.
