Coder - Professional Functioning within the health systems mission, values, objectives, procedures, and policies, the coder professional codes all physician office medical records as assigned by reviewing the entire medical record to determine if the documentation supports the code assignment as well as reviewing the chart for any specific regulations such as medical necessity. Education: Must be currently enrolled in a medical coding program. Licensure/Certification: Will consider candidates who are actively enrolled in a certification program.
