Job Description POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for maintenance of all health information records, including ensuring the records are filed properly, correctly, and in a timely manner; managing release of information processes; ensuring dictations are uploaded and sent to providers in a timely manner; and manages archival processes. Plans, develops, and administers the health information system consistent with facility policies and procedures and standards of accrediting and regulatory agencies by performing the following duties, personally or through subordinates. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Ensures compliance with health information requirements established by JCAHO, HIPAA, federal and state regulations. * Supervises staff in preparing and analyzing health information records and documents.
