Ensuring maximum reimbursement for services provided. Reviewing patient medical records and assigning codes to diagnoses and procedures. Submitting claims to insurance companies for reimbursement. Interpreting the type of care a patient receives and using medical coding to assign a special designation for their services. Certified Medical Coder preferred
