Position Summary: Medical Record Coder is responsible for timely review and completion of all discharged patient records in order to identify an appropriate selection of ICD-10-CM/CPT codes that will accurately reflect the patients stay while in the facility. Coder is further responsible for insuring that all data elements required for federal and state reporting are collected; coded data will facilitate the billing process with regards to coding and assignment of APC/MS DRG.
