Job Description Certified Professional Coder (CPC or CPC-A) to provide expert review and analysis of a wide range of patient records and charge slips to ensure the accuracy of coding, billing compliance in accordance with CPT and ICD10 guidelines, medical and legal standards as well a guarantee maximum reimbursement. Job duties include but are not limited to: * Review of medical records and charge slips initiated by the healthcare provider * Verification and coding of the diagnosis, E&M, procedures or other codes required for the completeness and accuracy of the record * Performs edit checks on data entered prior and following to transmittal and corrects errors as indicated * Maintains timely entry and submission of claims in accordance with company policy * Acts as a resource with expert knowledge to others * Other duties as assigned Education: CPC or CPC-A required Knowledge: * Knowledge of full Revenue Cycle * Knowledge of local and national insurance plans * Medical...
