Job Summary- The Inpatient RN Supervisor oversees day-to-day operations and serves as the team lead within the Medical Surgical and Obstetrics Departments. The RN Supervisor would coordinate, assign and guide the work activities of other RN staff. The RNs Supervisor would maintain department scheduling and staffing, perform timekeeping duties, lead nursing practice oversight, and work alongside of nursing education to train and mentor new staff. The Inpatient RN Supervisor would also work as a leader in informatics that directly support patient care such as optimization of EPIC and Responder 5 as it relates to best practices for the nursing teams and patients. In addition to lead worker duties, the Inpatient RN Supervisor also works collaboratively as member of the interprofessional team to provide therapeutic patient and family centered care.
