Responsibilities: Post and review patient and insurance charges accurately and timely. Preferred experience with Allscripts/Veradigm EMR and PM, Payerpath, Pay My Doctor, Phreesia Work Accounts Receivable to identify and resolve outstanding balances. Follow up on outstanding insurance claims and unpaid claims. Work with the Maryland Insurance Commissioner for difficult claims. Correct billing errors and resubmit claims when appropriate. Review aging reports and prioritize accounts based on age and claim amount. Contact patients and insurance companies regarding claim issues and patient balances.
