Job Details The Medical Assistant Supervisor hires, trains, supervises and evaluates department medical assistants. He/she assists physicians as they assess, examine and treat patients and updates electronic medical record (EMR). Responsibilities include patient flow management, and assisting with medical and/or minor surgical procedures and tests on patients. Tests may include allergy patch tests, biopsies and phlebotomy. Acts as the liaison to physicians to assure patient satisfaction with their visit. In addition, maintains and orders the clinical and non-clinical supplies for their area.
