Job Description Job Description BROAD FUNCTION: Responsible for directing and coordinating the overall functions of coding and billing to ensure maximization for cash flow while improving patient, physician, and other customer relations. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Works with billing team to coordinate patient registration, patient insurance, billing and collections and data processing to ensure accurate patient billing and efficient account collection and develops monthly status reports. 3. Reviews current status of patient accounts to identify and resolve billing and processing problems in a timely manner. 4.Oversees the collection of delinquent accounts ensuring third- party payers are contacted. 5.
