Job Description Job Description REMOTE WORK A POSSIBILITY AFTER 60 - 90 DAYS ONSITE. Two major functions of the Patient Account Representative (PAR) are patient billing and customer care inquiries. Depending on setting, the PAR may only perform billing and/or patient care inquiries, while in other settings, the PAR may perform both. In all settings, the PAR will perform additional duties, as assigned. PAR establishes and assigns financial responsibility and/or assists with arrangements while adhering to appropriate policies and procedures. In addition to collection of co-payments, pre-payments, and/or payments on account balances.
