Join our team in assisting patients resolving their medical bills. This is a work-from-home position with occasional meetings in Northern Utah. Due to operations requirements, the candidate must be located in Northern Utah (Layton to Logan.) Be sure to complete the pre-screening questions to verify eligibility. 15-25 hours per week Responsibilities Review and verify patient medical accounts to ensure completeness and accuracy. Review CPT (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD-9, ICD-10, and DRG (Diagnosis-Related Group) codes to medical procedures and diagnoses for precise billing. Follow up on unpaid or denied claims promptly, performing medical collections when necessary to recover outstanding balances. Maintain detailed records of all billing activities, including claim submissions, adjustments, and payments received. Receive patient phone calls to resolve outstanding balances.
