Correct any billing errors by resubmitting claims to insurance carriers or handling otherwise as appropriate. Works with therapist or other team members to ensure that correct diagnosis/procedures are reported to insurance carriers. Responsible for re-billing, preparing and submitting claims to insurance carriers, primarily electronically. Pursues collection of all claims until payment is made by insurance companies. Our physical therapy office is located in Brewster, NY in Putnam county, NY within the close proximity to I-684 & I-84 & Danbury, Ct. Our part time office position is in the billing dept. The positions would include assisting the billing dept with patient payment posting, patient tracking amongst other daily billing office tasks. The position would additionally entail inquiry filing for unpaid claims, follow up with insurance companies to resolve any discrepancies or denials, assisting with patient statements, faxing information as required, u tilizing Excel data entry skills to maintain accurate records Newly certified or intermediate level CPC-A or CPC or CPB are welcome to apply via the Xtern Program.  Looking for a person that is passionate about problem-solving, has attention to detail.
