Beaufort Memorial Hospital is seeking a Facility Coder to convert diagnoses and procedures into ICD-10-CM and CPT codes for inpatient and outpatient services. The role includes DRG assignments for inpatient accounts and APC assignments for outpatient accounts to ensure accurate documentation. Job Description Job Description Converts diagnoses and procedures for hospital inpatient and outpatient services, psychiatric inpatient and outpatient services, and inpatient rehab facility services into numerical codes utilizing ICD10CM and CPT coding systems. Makes DRG assignments to inpatient accounts and APC assignments to outpatient accounts to obtain appropriate documentation for the coding of the patient’s medical record.
