Job Description Job Description We are looking for a part time medical biller who is interested in working in a friendly multi-disciplinary medical office that strives in providing excellent and compassionate care to our patients. In this position you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of billing management and following up with the insurance company and the patients to make sure our office is compensated properly, the patient is billed correctly, and timely payments are made. Job Responsibilities: • Oversee the correct entry of patients’ insurance packages. • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits. • Oversee the submission of claims. • Ensure proper referrals are obtained. • Obtain pre-authorizations. • Communicate and coordinate with other office staff and our third party billing companies. • Assist third party billing companies with investigating and appealing denials. • Follow-up on missed payments and resolve financial discrepancies. • Help patients develop...
