Overview Remote Inpatient Coder. Start Date: 2/16/2026. Pay Rate: $32.00 - $40.00. Position: Part Time inpatient coder. Responsibilities Position duties include coding of medical information into the Meditech Coding Abstract system and monitoring completion of daily coding assignments through established HIM best practice processes and professional and regulatory coding guidelines. Assign ICD CM/PCS codes to inpatient accounts and ICD CM/CPT codes to outpatient accounts, as directed for respective encounters. Reviews and follow-up (if needed) on associated facility charges, technical fees, and level of service for assigned outpatient encounters. Adheres to a 95% coding accuracy rating.
